Manifestation

GDL Interiors supply and install fully glazed partitions. We also offer glass manifestation - either in conjunction with the fitting of panels or as a standalone service.

Existing glazing must be appropriately marked or featured so as to make it apparent and therefore avoid risk of collision because it is not properly visible. Manifestation window film can be decorative and designs can be created to reinforce your corporate image or to get your message across. We have available to us a variety of films and manifestation designs that are not only aesthetically pleasing but conform to the current regulations.

Every window or glazed area in a wall, partition, door or gate shall be of safety material or be protected against breakage. This means it should not break on impact or should break safely. All of our work is carried out in accordance with Building Regulations BS 6262 Part 4, Safety, and Human Impact, to prevent serious injury to persons through accidental collision with glazing at work.

The lower level should be between 850 mm and 1000 mm from finished floor level and the higher from 1400 mm and 1600 mm. Manifestation on glazed partitions

With the increasing use of fully glazed partitions in offices, manifestation applied to glass in the form of film, offers many benefits. Apart from Health and Safety considerations, manifestation can be used for decorative and aesthetic purposes, for enhancing privacy and for emphasising corporate identity.

Films, which are available in dusted and frosted styles and in varying patterns and colours, are easily applied on site without removing the glass from the partitioning modules. In the event that changes to colour or identity are subsequently required, removal of the manifestation can be achieved by chemical process.
