Glass Partitioning – Glazed Partitions – London, Essex, Chelms glass partitioning glass partitioning

Our glass partitioning systems are frameless, fully glazed and dry jointed with clear channels between the modules. This means the partitioning appears seamless but it can be disassembled easily should you need to reposition it. Our glass partitioning is available with either single, or double glazed partitions and can be fitted with or without manifestation. With double glazed partitioning you can also opt for integrated window blinds. They are especially useful in situations where there is a need for enhanced privacy or, when the sun is shining at just the wrong angle.

Our range of hinged or sliding glazed doors and solid wood doors are specifically designed to work with glazed partitions and they come with either aluminium or wood channels at the top and bottom.

Clear rigid channels are installed between the modules for our glazed partitioning, although you do have the option of aluminium or timber channels if you'd prefer, together with the choice of glass or wooden doors. Also included in our range is the Avanti 'Fireclear' frameless fire rated door, this is ideal if your partitions require fire rating and we will always advise you if you need to use fire rated materials.

Glass Partitioning can be used to divide a larger office space into several smaller ones. It can be used to create separate cubicles, separate offices and whole rooms within rooms. It is ideal for consultation rooms, interview rooms and in circumstances where conversation needs to be kept private.

It provides the perfect platform for any corporate manifestation and can be used to deliver key messages. Your glass manifestation could clearly display your company logo or message whilst at the same time, alerting your staff or the public, to the presence of glass partitioning. This last point is particularly important from a health and safety standpoint since it is the responsibility of the office owner to highlight the existence of any clear glass partitioning.

About Bromley

Bromley is first recorded in a charter of 862 as Bromleag and means 'woodland clearing where broom grows' The history of Bromley is closely connected with the See of Rochester as in AD 862 Ethelbert, the King of Kent granted land to form the Manor of Bromley. Bromley is the largest London Borough by area and half of the borough is covered by green belt countryside, the largest area of green space in London.

The town was an important coaching stop on the way to Hastings from London until the arrival of the railway in 1858 in Shortlands which led to rapid growth and outlying suburban districts such as Bickley were developed to accommodate those wishing to live so conveniently close to London. In 1840 it became part of the expanded Metropolitan Police District and Bromley became part of the newly created Greater London in 1965.

Bromley is one of the major metropolitan centres identified in the London Plan it has a large shopping and retail area including a pedestrianized High Street and The Glades shopping centre its main retail rivals are Croydon to the West and Bluewater to the South.

Bromley is one of the few London boroughs not served by the London Underground and with the exception of its night buses has no direct bus links to Central London. Bromley does, however have two railway stations, Bromley South and the larger and more frequently served of the two which is on the Chatham Mainline. Long distance trains from Victoria to Medway, Thanet and South East Kent have their first stop at Bromley thus providing a fast and frequent nonstop service to Central London.

The parish church of St Peter and St Paul stands on Church Road and was largely destroyed by enemy action on 16th April 1941 but rebuilt in the 1950's incorporating the medieval tower and reusing much of the flint and fragments of the original stone building. The most noteworthy historic building of Bromley is the Bromley College in London Road.
